So, Who is Alexander ‘DeMiNe0′ Vanino?

You want to know more about me eh? My name is Alex Vanino…. I’m an asshole. With that aside, I’m an IT Analyst. I’m Microsoft Certified, but I also dabble in Unix a bit too. I’m also into Web Development and Design as a hobby. I run a few websites, which you can find on my links page. My other hobby is photography. I do photography of events, but my real concentration is Urban Exploration/Photography. You can read more about that later on down this page. I also volunteer as a Fire Fighter as well as an EMT. I go by the name DeMiNe0 online, as you can probably tell by the website name.

My involvement in Anonymous and the fight against the Co$.

Do to personal reasons I got involved in the fight against Scientology. For the most part it was a great experience. I made a lot of new friends, learned a lot, and had a great time. There were bumps along the way, but I figured out ways to overcome them.  I contributed to the cause the best way I knew how. I developed websites, and ran other IT assets that could help further advance the cause. The website I helped start is WhyWeProtest.Net. WhyWeProtest is the largest and most recognized website dedicated to the fight against Scientology. I left the fight against Scientology because the people involved were becoming rediculious and almost starting a small war between eachother. Unfortently I was thrown right into the middle of that war, and that just took away all the fun from the entire movement. Do I regret doing it now? No… I came out in the end with a few new friends, who I think will be friends for life. I was also able to put a close to the personal reason that got me started in this fight… So ya… I’m happy with how everything turned out in the end…

Urban Explor-… What?

This is such a pain in the ass to explain… Depending on how you explain it, people will look at you either as a lunitic, or someone who actually is into something REALLY cool. I’ll give it my best shot though.
I’m an Urban Explorer. I find my way into abandoned buildings or anywhere that normally is not accessed by society. I try to photograph alot of these places as well. I find it’s a very unique photography experience that you don’t find anywhere else. You can see most of my photography in my gallery.
